In May, I graduated!!! Yippy! I still can't believe it and probably won't until Rob is going back to school and I'm not. A piece of me is kind of sad that it is over... if I could, I would be a student forever!
The Monday after graduation, I had my first teaching interview and then had an interview every week for 3 weeks... that was very stressful for me. I do not like interviewing... at all! However, like they say, the third time was a charm and I will be teaching 1st grade at Desert Winds Elementary School this coming year. I am very grateful for this opportunity and am lucky to have found a job so fast, especially in this economy. It was definitely an answer to my prayers.The day after I got the job, two of my best friends got married to each other! It was such a fun and beautiful wedding and I was so happy to be a part of it! The Gila Valley temple is beautiful! Congrats KAMI & ADAM!!
The following Tuesday my completely HANDSOME nephew was born. He is such a sweet lovable baby and he came just in time to see Justin before he left on his mission.
A week and a day later, we sent Justin on his mission! Saying goodbye was NOT fun... at all. (I now hope my first child is a girl...haha).. but we are SOOO proud of him and would not want him ANYWHERE else in the world than serving the Lord. Yesterday we heard from him and he is doing SOOO great!
Rob is doing great... he was so happy for the end of the semester to come. It was a VERY BUSY semester for him. This summer he is working and taking a test-prep course for grad. school. He hopes to take the real test sometime in August!! The application process is now beginning... crazy! It always felt so far away!And last but not least I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Christi and Emma! They are both celebrating their birthdays this week! I love you both!
