Rob and I had lots of fun for Valentine's day! We didn't get to see much of each other during the day, but when Rob got home from school we went out to eat to Macaroni Grill and then we rented a movie to watch. This year Rob and I decided that we weren't going to buy each other anything for Valentine's Day, but instead make each other something. It was kind of hard to think of something to do for Rob, because I feel like I have given him everything creative that I could ever come up with. But finally I decided to do the "12 hours of Valentine's Day" kinda like the "12 days of Christmas." I made 12 bags and each hour he got a note or a treat or something as a little reminder of how much I love him. It was so much fun making it. In the 12th hour, which was when we got home from dinner, rob got a dozen flowers. They were paper flowers stuck in an ice cream cake that I made in a bowl that looked like a flower pot. I made the top look like dirt and it was funny because Rob really thought it was until I told him. Rob was pretty creative too. I was impressed. He made me a really cute movie with music and pictures from our first 6 months of being married! I love it! It was really fun making each other gifts! It might be too big to post on here but I will try. Here is a picture with Rob and his gifts!

Okay that was way cute. What a great Valentine idea. I'm going to stick that one in my file for next year. You two are the best. We love being able to keep up on things this way. Keep blogging and lots of pictures too.
Whoo...yeah!! I am so excited you have a blog. Well you need to check out our new header on the family blog. I can teach you how to make your own if you want. It is a little time consuming but fun. Anyhow, congrats I am so excited!!

What a fun Valentine's Day! You guys are so cute. Dan and I hardly celebrated because I was laid up in bed, but we will remember that idea for next year. Making gifts definitely makes you think about the other person more.
