Shelly vs. Concrete.... Concrete WINS.

Before I say anything, let me assure everyone.... NO I AM NOT PREGNANT. Now that everyone is clear on that, I will go on with the story. On July 1st, I was at work doing the normal old stuff when all of the sudden after about two hours I felt horrible. It hit me out of nowhere. I was on the playground watching the kids, so I decided to walk over and get a drink. By the time I got there, I was feeling worse. After I got a drink and tired sitting down, I decided that I was going to throw up, so I might as well stand up and lean over the 50 gallon trash can that was behind me. That is about the last thing I remember. The next thing I knew, there were people all hundled above me shouting my name. When I turned around to throw up, I passed out hit the bridge of my nose on the trash can and then my head on the concrete. By the time I woke up, they had called an ambulance and there were about 6 guys coming to help me. Kinda sounds serious. But really it was no big deal. I was at work, so my work had to cover all their bases. I went to the hospital and after some tests, everything looked great, besides my face that is. They aren't really sure why I passed out. Might have been random or due to heat, but they had no way of telling. After hitting my nose so hard, I was lucky enough to not only get a bump on my head and a scrap on my nose, but I got the privalage of having not one, but two black eyes. That is a first for me. Like I said before, I am totally fine and have had an interesting week and a half as people look at me with a curious face probably wondering if my husband beats me... haha! My eyes are almost back to normal! And I don't plan on passing out again anytime soon!

This is day one. Not much bruising, just swollen. Nathan (J's friend informed me that I looked like a frog at this point... Thanks Nathan)

This is day three: swelling down, black eyes begin.

So that's what happened. I was going to ask you when I saw you in Show Low. I figured you got hit or ran into something. I am glad you are getting better, because it looked like it hurt really bad!! I am really glad you didn't break anything.
