Does anyone have a shot gun that we can borrow????

Rob and I have a furry friend that likes to come and visit us EVERY night. I would not consider him a friend, but for some reason he must think that we like seeing him because without fail he comes to visit each night. There is this cat that lives in our apartment complex. We are not sure if the cat belongs to someone, but I am ready to kill it (I would never really kill it..... but only because Rob won't let me). It is funny because the cat only shows up when Rob and I are studying. It used to only come around at night, but yesterday it arrived at 5. It sits outside our apartment on the curb below us and MEOWS uncontrollably. It is not your typical meow either, it sounds like it is dying. Rob felt bad for the cat when it first came around because we thought that is was really dying or something because of the horrific noise that it was making. So, Rob tired to go look at the cat, but that was a mistake because it wanted into our apartment. Now it just MEOWS non stop until we stop studying. It doesn't matter what time we go to bed, the cat is a faithful friend and stays up with us no matter how late. Last night it was hot in our apartment so we opened the sliding door and left the screen shut. The next thing I know the stupid cat was trying to claw through the screen and torturing us with that annoying MEOW. So, if anyone has a shot gun and likes to kill stuff, Rob and I have a good target awaiting you.

All we can say when we see this cat is GURRRRRRRR!!

I am so Happy...

I am so happy that I finally figured out how to make my own background. It took time but I had nothing else to do because I was trying not to bother Rob because he was supposedly studying (I should be too), but then look what I found.... Rob was studying so hard.... :)

I will give him credit though. He has been studying all day, so he is probably tired. Anyway, I am just happy I figured out how to make my own background.

Happy Birthday J-Man!

Happy Birthday J-Man! I can't believe you are already 17. It seems like just yesterday we were sumo wrestling in the living room and playing with those dumb Rugrat dolls that you had. It is crazy how time has flown. Anyhow, I hope that you have a WONDERFUL birthday and know how much I love you. You are a great brother (when you are not a punk) and I can't imagine life without a brother. I thought for sure mom was going to have a "Lisa" when she was pregnant, but I am glad that I got a brother instead. Have fun being 17... it is a great year! Here are some pictures of the birthday boy..

Sorry for the pic choice Justin, I only have a limited selection at my house.

So I got distracted....

So, I was on the computer trying to be a productive little student and do some homework tonight even though I do not have school tomorrow. Well, I got distracted my this blog and decided to change it. And it was more fun than doing homework. Now I guess I will do my homework on the weekend. Anyway, I know Rob is going to just love this new lay out (not that he cares), especially the title.. "the two cook-ies." When we first got married I really didn't like how the last name "Cook" was so short. I have a tendency to sign my name all over a piece of paper when I get bored. So, I mastered "Larimore" and could sign it in many different ways. However, Cook was so hard for me and I thought it made my name look funny. I know, I'm dumb. So I used to joke with Rob and tell him that we were going to change our last name to Cookie so that it would be longer and make my name look nicer on paper. He really didn't like that, so I finally let that go. But my friends knew about it and liked the idea too. So they now ask Rob if they can call our kids (which we are not going to have for a long time) "our little cookies." So, needless to say, Rob is never going to escape being referred to as a Cookie, all due to my silly habit of signing my name 50 million times over. Oh well, I now like how I sign Cook so I don't care. And I like Cookie as our Title, so Rob will like it too :).

On another note, Christi and I were driving down the road the other day and saw this very strange sight.....

Christi was so embarrassed that I was trying to hang out the window and take a picture. I asked her to move up so I could get the face, but this is as close as she would get. Luckily there is zoom. I had to show Rob though. The guy was driving down the road letting it hang out the window like it was dog or something. Weird and Funny!!

THANK YOU MOM & DAD!!!

Thanks Mom and Dad for the Best Spring Break EVER!! Rob and I had so much fun and going on vacation was just what we needed. It was so nice not to have to worry about school and work. We couldn't have had as much fun without you guys! We made so many fun memories this trip! We love you and just can't thank you enough for all that you do for us. You truly are amazing parents and I am so grateful to have you both. And Rob is happy to have you as in-laws! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Here are some highlights from our FUN week! First we got on the boat in LA. We hung out on the boat, ate, and did a lifeboat/jacket drill and then about dinner we took off to San Diego!
I love San Diego. It is one of my most favorite places to go. I would live there if could afford it. Anyway, we went to the Zoo here and had a lot of fun. It is huge. I think Collin and Emma had fun too! This was also the formal night in the dining room. I liked getting all dressed up and I think Rob liked it too, but he did forget his dress shoes, but luckily the boat had some that he could rent. Yippy! Everyone took pictures so I don't have all the good ones and I mostly have ones of Rob and I but here are a few from San Diego...

After San Deigo, it was off to Catalina Island. Rob and I had a lot of fun here. Everyone, minus mom and the kids, went Para Sailing and Snorkeling. It was so much fun. Para sailing was awesome! And although the water was FREEZING and we didn't get to see a lot while snorkeling because we were being taken over by seaweed, it was still fun because we all couldn't stop laughing. About every 2 minutes, Christi would have a freak out (which for those who know her, is hilarious because she blows things up into a much bigger deal than they are) which would make Shanna and I laugh and everyone would then laugh. We did see a couple Orange fish or at least saw the same one a couple of times! We saw some cool sea lions on the way to snorkeling too. We all thought that they were going to make us get in with the sea lions, but luckily they didn't.

This night was also CHOCOLATE NIGHT! They had the most amazing chocolate sculptures and all kinds of chocolate stuff to eat! I love chocolate, so this was too much fun! They boat ALWAYS had stuff to eat and the workers did not let you not eat. If you didn't ask for it, they brought it to you anyway! But yes the food was excellent, so it made it seem worth it! However, the chief did make it a point to tell us after a week of eating amazingly good food and tons of sweets that when we get on the scale when we got home that we need to remember that, "What goes through your lips, sometimes stays on your hips."
Next was Ensenada, Mexico. Rob LOVED this. He got to speak SPANISH! and he got his tacos. Rob was loving it! My mom, sisters, and I had a lot of fun shopping too. I don't know how much fun the boys had waiting outside every store as we went in, but oh well. However, Rob did enjoy kissing the Monkey...
This is just something cute that we got on tape. Shanna and Brian tried teaching Collin his name and where he was from in case he were to get lost. They also put tags on him because some people might not understand him, but listen to what Collin learned. It is super cute and funny!

Well these are some of the highlights from all the fun we had on our trip! This was such a fun Family Vaca and Rob and I just wanted to tell you THANKS Mom and Dad! We had so much fun and we owe it all to you!
