Oh mannnn... so much has happened

Warning... This is going to be long because I have a lot to catch up on and I got pictures and I am too lazy to make a slide show... it takes forever.

August 9th- HAPPY ONE YEAR to Rob and I! We both can't believe we have already hit that point. On our anniversary, Rob planned a day full of fun. We slept in and then went up to Mt. Lemon for a picnic. It was raining but it was still fun. After lunch we went on the ski lift.... that was FREEZING.... it had to be like 50 degrees and since I didn't know what we were doing of course I didn't bring warm clothes. I mean, come on it is August... who needs warm clothes?!?!? Despite the cold it was fun too. We spent the afternoon on the mountain and then we came home and Rob took me to see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 and then took me to the melting pot! He made this super sweet video for me ( I wish I knew how to put it on here).... and gave me a beautiful necklace. It is the stone of August for when we got married and it is called the Journey of Love... Thanks Rob! I got him a watch and made him some little scrapbook pages since it is the year of paper, and a little tool box with tools to make it though another year with me :)! They were just paper tools and most of them had candy with it. Like a paint brush with a bag of kisses attached.... to brush my cheeks with kisses for another year... cheesy I know! It was a great day!

August 25th- Back to School!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOO!! That was a sad day in the Cook house! But things are going well so far.

August 29h- Rob took me out for my birthday! My birthday was on Monday September 1st, which is labor day... yippy no school, but Rob had to work and then we had school the next day so we decided to go out Friday! Rob was super cute. Since I was turning 21 he was creative in planning this one. He wrote poems to go with the events that we were doing and I had to guess where we were going.... we played 21 and if I won I got tokens, throughout the night I could gamble my tokens and win or lose some. We went to dinner at olive garden and then we went mini. golfing. At each hole we had to putt a different way, Left handed, between the legs, pool style, eyes closed, etc. Lots of fun. Then Rob took me to 31 Flavors, but crossed out 31 and put 21. It was lots of fun. Thanks Rob... you are the Best!! Oh ya... and I must be looking older because our waiter at dinner was trying to give me alcohol and a). he didn't know it was my birthday soon and b). he didn't ask for ID or anything. Of course I didn't take it, but I was like look Rob I must be looking older!

August 30th- GOOOOOOOOOO CATS!!! The first UofA game of the season. This is always an exciting game. Usually one of the few that we win :). Anyway, we went to the game, but then it started to rain :(... the game was delayed for like an hour and then it started up again. However, it was raining the whole time.... so at half time we left. Since the Cats were up so much, for every ticket that you had you could go to Jack in the Box and get 2 free tacos. My parents, Justin, Daniel, Christi, Rob and I all carpooled to the game so we had 7 tickets. We didn't really want tacos but we thought that it would be funny to see if they would give us 14 free tacos.... and they DID!! hahahaha

September 1st- My 21st Birthday! My mom and I went shopping in the morning and she bought me a coach purse for my birthday. I love it, but I am not going to lie, I am a little scared to use it. I don't want to ruin it. In the after noon my Family (minus the Mosley's who are at Disneyland.... lucky) and Rob and I went to a movie and to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and of course my family told them it was my birthday and made me ride the saddle! It was a great birthday! Thanks everybody!

Random- After the football game, we went back to my parents house and look what we found in the freezer... an exploded diet coke on top of the ice cream carton. Rob has always told me that sodas explode when you put it in the freezer, but I was beginning to doubt him because they never have exploded on me. But my mom proved that they do

Tomorrow- Is Rob's birthday! Yup, our birthdays are super close! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sweety! You are the best husband a girl could ever ask for! Love you Pumpkin!

What a handsome 24 year old!!!

Well... it's about time I update

As usual I am slacking with updating! After Rob and I were done with summer school back in July, we jetted over to California for a vacation to celebrate our one year. It wasn't quite our one year, August 9th was the actual date, but we got a smoking deal on a nice resort in San Diego so we went early. Rob and I had sooooooooooo much fun. For the first three days we were in San Diego. We went to Sea World.... Rob has not been since he can remember, so that was fun and new for him. I love the dolphins. If I could I would have a pet dolphin if I could. We also went to the Beach, rented beach cruisers, went to Sea Port Village, and went to the temple. I was so excited to finally get to go in the San Diego temple. I went to the open house when I was younger but only could remember a few things. Sand Diego has always been my favorite temple!! While we were in the temple there was an earthquake in LA and we could feel it. The chandlers and everything in the temple were swaying back and fourth.... I had no idea what was going on until it was over. After it was over the temple worker just calmly and simple said "Welcome to California... You couldn't have been in a safer place." Pretty much it was crazy, but cool experience. For the last two days we went to LA and went to Six Flags. That was fun, but Rob and I rode way too many roller coasters and by the end of the day our heads were killing us! Anyway, we had a blast and were so happy to get a way for a while!

Good Day for the Cook's

I am happy to announce that Rob is DONE with calculus. Today he took his final and feels like he did pretty good. We won't know his grade till later, but I am so proud of him. He really put A LOT of time into this class this summer. I also want to say thanks to my Dad. He was a great big help for Rob in this class and spend countless hours and nights staying up with Rob. THANKS DAD! Anyway, we are so happy that there will be no more homework. Oh ya, and I finished my class too, so that is fun as well, but I will admit that mine was a thousand times easier. In celebration of Rob's last day I made him some Awesome tissue paper flowers at work in arts and crafts and a card too. Tonight in celebration of our first week night with nothing to do we are going to go see Batman.... HAPPY DAY!

Fishy Fun!!

For the 4th of July, Rob and I went camping with my family and my aunt and her family up in the White Mountains. It was so nice to get away, especially from homework. We had so much fun and Rob was super excited that he finally got to use all the camping stuff that we got for our wedding, which worked great. It rained on us everyday, but it was still really nice. On the 4th we went into Showlow and watched the fireworks and had a picnic at a lake. Other then that, we had a lot of fun fishing, playing games, having races, hanging with the family, and trying to scare my sister who is deathly afraid of bears :). Saturday when we were fishing, Rob slipped on a rock and messed up his thumb pretty bad. It is all swollen and black and blue, but luckily shortly after that he caught a fish, so it was all worth it, I hope. We were glad that we got to get away and have a great time with the family. Here are some pics....

Sorry that it has been so long since I posted. Life has been busy for the last little while. The most exciting news is that Rob and I are DONE with this semester.... it is one of the best feelings ever. We are excited to be out, but now we are in Summer School :(. Oh well. Last weekend, before we started summer school, Rob and I got to go to Phoenix and stay in a resort. When we got married we stayed at this resort and Rob filled out one of those dumb survey things that they give you and we won 2 free night. He has good luck I guess, because I would have never won. It was a lot of fun. The weather was kinda cold, but it actually worked out great and we were able to do a lot of stuff outside in May without it being 105 degrees outside. Friday we went to the temple and went out to eat and then Rob took me on a Gondola ride and a guy sung an Italian love song to us. It was really cute and I was super impressed with Rob's planning.
Saturday, when we woke up we really wanted some bagels, so we tried to go and find a place. We had gone to a bagel place once when we were up there down by ASU, so we decided to try and find it. That was a bad idea though. We looked for like an hour and then when we finally found it was torn down. oh well. We then went shopping, which I always love. We went to the Tempe Market Place shopping area and that is a really cool place. I would not suggest it during summer since it is outside, but that was school. We went to shopping at some other places and then later we went to this really cool park and ate dinner and went on a paddle boat. Rob Loved it.
Anyway, in other news, we are super excited that my sister is getting married next week and can't wait to celebrate with her!! I love weddings and getting all dressed up for them. I will post some picture from the wedding next week!

Carrie Underwood!!

I LOVE Carrie Underwood. I remember watching her on American Idol and hoping that she would win. I thought she was so beautiful! She is one of my favorite artists and Friday night Rob and I got to see her in concert. I was so happy and her concert was sooooo good! She sung with Josh Tuner and he is really good too. He has such a deep voice it is crazy. They both are great performers and sound exactly like they do on the radio. I would even go as far as saying that they sound better then Tim and Faith live. Anyway, we had lots of fun. My little brother came with us and Shanna and Brian were at the concert too, but not next to us, so that was fun. Rob was a happy camper because she sung his favorite song, "American Girl," don't tell him I told you. :) We forgot to take pictures, so sorry I don't have much to show.

In other news, Rob and I are almost done with school. This is our last week of class and then just finals. We are so excited for it to be summer. We are both going to take summer school, but one class shouldn't be so bad. Other than that, nothing too special is going on. Our Cat-friend is still bothering us and Rob swears that if it doesn't go away soon he is going to march upstairs to the people's door that he thinks own the cat and tell them that their cat is annoying. I know he won't do it though.
